Called to Serve

At 10:00 a.m. Wednesday morning the mailman stopped by our house to deliver our Mission Call. Despite the temptation to steam open the envelope, we waited until the family gathered at
7:00 p.m. to open the envelope. We have been assigned to the Canada Vancouver Mission---
and we are thrilled!!!

We will be there during the 2010 Winter Olympic Games, so perhaps we will be able to experience the Olympic games again. The mission area is from the Canadian Border to the Alaskan border in British Columbia.

We are so grateful for the great family support at the opening of our mission call. Everyone was there except for Brad, who was on a plane returning from a business trip. Thanks to our
wonderful children, children-in-law, and grandchildren for your love, help, and encouraging words. You are the GREATEST!

I am so excited for you! You will love that beautiful country. And no, I don't think you will be in an igloo... unless you go to a museum.
Love you guys, Di

How exciting for you two. I'm sure you will have a lot of adventures with all those goofy missionaries out there! Kevin had a lot of fun with the Senior Couples. We will keep an eye on your awesome family for ya!
